A: If you have different measurements for your upper and lower body, please select “custom size” when placing your order. This allows you to provide your specific measurements in the order notes at checkout.
Please note that custom-sized outfits come with an additional cost. Due to the personalized nature of custom orders, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for these items. To ensure a perfect fit, please provide the following measurements: Bust, Waist, Hips, preffered product length

Orders, Cancellations and exchanges
A: To cancel your order kindly send us an email at support@seamstresslagos.com within 4 hours of placing the order or send us a message via WhatsApp on +2347037604135. After this time we might be unable to make any edits to your order i.e canceling the order, changing shipping information or order information color or size. If we are successfully able to cancel your order a 20% item value will be subtracted from your refund to cover for costs incurred.

Important notes about exchanges:
- Non-custom items: You can exchange non-custom items within the specified timeframe.
- Custom items: Unfortunately, we cannot offer exchanges or returns on customized outfits. However, we may be able to make alterations to your custom outfit at no additional cost, subject to our availability.
- Logistics costs for alterations: Please note that you will be responsible for the shipping costs of sending the item for alterations and returning it to you.

What constitutes a “customized item”?
- Any item made with measurements that fall outside our standard size guide.
- Any item featuring alterations to sleeves or lengths that differ from our basic measurements. For example, if you provide measurements in the order notes (bust 36 inches, waist 29 inches, hips 40 inches) that are close to but not exactly a size 10 in our size guide, this will be considered a customized item.
A: After we have received and inspected the garment please allow 3 – 7 working days for it to be processed.
A: Items purchased with store credits are non exchangeable.
Shipping
A: Yes, we deliver to all states within Nigeria. We also deliver world wide.
A: Yes, we ship worldwide.
A: Please allow for up to 2 business days for processing time for your order:
Shipping time Within Nigeria: 1 – 3 business days for local standard orders.
Within Africa: 5 – 7 business days.
Occasional wear products: 7-12 business days.
Please note: Processing time is outside of shipping time. i.e standard processing time is 2 business days and shipping with Nigeria is 1 – 3 business days which means total shipping time is 3 – 5 working days.

Sale or launch periods: During sale or launch periods, both local and international orders may experience slightly longer processing times, up to 10-15 business days.

A: We offer tracking for most orders.
Here’s how it works:
Orders outside Lagos (within Nigeria and Africa): You’ll receive a tracking number via email as soon as your item is shipped. You can use this number to track your order on the courier’s website.
Local orders within Lagos: Unfortunately, we don’t currently offer tracking for local orders within Lagos.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We’re working on implementing tracking for Lagos orders in the future. Please check back for updates.
A: Yes! We offer express shipping on all orders to get your items to you faster.

A: If you’re unreachable when the shipping company arrives, your item will be returned to Seamstress Lagos. We’ll contact you via email or WhatsApp to schedule a new delivery.
Please note: There will be a shipping fee for the second delivery, which you’ll be responsible for paying. We recommend providing your phone number and a backup contact person in case you’re unavailable when the shipper tries to deliver.
To avoid missed deliveries:
- Ensure your contact information is up-to-date.
- Consider providing a backup contact person.
- Be available during the estimated delivery window.
A: Free standard delivery is only available on online orders of N250,000 or more spent in a single transaction and applies to orders within Nigeria only.
This option is limited to quantities below 10 pieces of clothing.
For deliveries to be eligible they have to be placed by a certain time.

A: No, we don’t accept payment on delivery. All orders must be paid for in full before delivery.

- Name of the person picking up
- Phone number of the person picking up
- Copy of the person’s valid ID .
Once we receive this information, we’ll provide you with our studio details. Please note that pickups are available during our pickup hours:
Monday – Friday: 10 AM – 4 PM
Saturdays: 10 AM – 12 PM
Please be aware that any alterations made during pickup will incur an additional charge. If you have any questions about the pickup process, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

However, please note that once orders are processed, they cannot be cancelled or modified. Where a wrong address is provided, and items are undeliverable at first attempt, you will be charged for a second delivery attempt.
