Our mission at Seamstress Lagos is to infuse the energy and culture of Lagos into every unique and custom-tailored design we create. Our founder and CEO, Omotoke Ogunwomoju, is a fashion prodigy who started designing clothes at the age of 13. She attended Covenant University and has taken coursework at the renowned University of Arts, London, and gained further exposure with successful internships with acclaimed international fashion brands, which gave her a solid foundation in fashion design. In 2013, Omotoke was a Top 10 finalist at the inaugural Fayrouz L’Original competition, which inspired her to officially launch Seamstress Lagos in September 2018, in the heart of Lagos.
