Shipping

Please note we put in maximum effort to take a sustainable approach to production by operating a zero to low inventory method. This means that all garments are produced upon receiving your order. Most items take at least 3 working days.

Our goal is to satisfy every single customer and make you have a seamless shopping experience with us. We have made our shopping process as simple as possible however feedback is always welcome, please note that every feedback is welcome. Kindly share with us on support@seamstresslagos.com. If you are unhappy with a recent purchase we provide exchanges and also provide store credits. Unfortunately we don’t offer cash refunds. Please carefully read through our conditions so you are abreast with them.

At Seamstress Lagos, we offer both local and international shipping. However, express deliveries attract an extra cost depending on your delivery date. For local standard orders it takes 3-5 business days for your order to be processed and shipped. Please note that all orders are made to order. A notification will be sent to you via email as soon as your order is ready to be shipped. We ship from Nigeria, please note that public holidays and Weekends are not working days and this will be factored in during delivery.

For international orders which are usually shipped via DHL otherwise stated it takes 5 – 10 business days for your order to be processed and delivered as all outfits are made to order. A notification will be sent to you via email as soon as your order is ready to be shipped alongside your tracking details. We ship from Nigeria, please note that public holidays and Weekends are not working days and this will be factored in during delivery. We are not responsible for postal delays.

The delivery fee must be paid in full before your item is shipped.

If you are unavailable to receive your item when the shipper gets to you, kindly have someone receive it on your behalf. Another delivery will be done at an additional cost to you if you are unable to receive your item when the shipper gets to your address. A new delivery date will be communicated to you via an email or a WhatsApp message.

Pick-ups are also available, we are located at Ikosi Ketu Lagos Nigeria. Please let us know if you would like to pick up by selecting pick up as your shipping option. The time and day for a pick up will be communicated once the outfit is ready via email at the point of pick up, your name and mobile number will be requested for identification purposes. A means of identification will be required to confirm the recipient.

​​If a third party is picking up on your behalf kindly inform us ahead by sending a message via WhatsApp on +2347037604135 with his/her details (Full name), a means of identification will be required from the third party picking up.

Express deliveries are available at an extra cost depending on the time you would like to receive and delivery location. Kindly see shipping rates for more details.

Unfortunately we do not offer timed delivery. All deliveries will be done on the specified day as communicated via email.

Items above basic weight will be delivered at an extra cost. The weight of your orders will be communicated to you before your shipment is created.

Free standard delivery is only available on online orders of N150,000 or more spent in a single transaction and applies to orders within Nigeria only. This option is limited to quantities below 10 pieces of clothing. For deliveries to be eligible they have to be placed by a certain time
